About us

The Unity Under the Stars Campout was started in 2017 by a group of AA's from the North Florida Area's District 19. The campout operated as a district event on the St. John's River until 2022. The campout's popularity grew to the point where the committee was encouraged to seek a larger venue in a more central location. Unity Under the Stars Campout has been hosted annually at Doe Lake in Umatilla since 2023. The campout continues to be a fun weekend for all in recovery with the same principal purpose.
